Ugi Ball Class - Pilates Essentials Plus

Our Ugi Ball classes are way too much fun!
This workout combines cardio with strength while challenging balance here and there to make sure the “core” is working!

Functional fitness at its best, the Ugi Ball is a unique twist on the old school medicine ball. About the size of a blow up beach ball, the Ugi is like a great big weighted beanbag. It is easy to hold, but resilient enough to sit, stand or lay on. The workout itself is 30 minutes – 30 exercises in 30 minutes to be exact – so be prepared for some tough stuff that is certain to get your heart rate up and break a good sweat!

Ugilates

This class is an exception to the 30 exercises in 30 minutes Ugi Ball format. Instead, this 45 minute class combines the world of Ugi with the foundation of Pilates Matwork. You will strengthen, stretch and experience the best of both worlds. A great introduction and fantastic place to begin your Pilates and Ugi Ball journey!

Pre-requisites: No previous Pilates or Ugi Ball experience is necessary. Instructor approval is required.

 Ugi Ball Class

This class will give you a solid introduction to the Ugi Ball and its versatility.

Pre-requisites: Instructor approval is required. No previous Ugi Ball experience is necessary. Participants in this class should be in good physical health, injury-free and have the ability to transition comfortably from standing to the floor and back.

 

Ugi Ball Plus

The Ugi Ball plus various other pieces of small equipment will be used in this class to up the ante! The workout is still a fast-paced, 30 exercises in 30-minutes with the Ugi Ball at the “core” of the class, but other equipment will be pulled in to add to the challenge. Could be a FlexBand, Fitness Circle, Stability Ball, Foam Roller or TRX – who knows! But what we do know is that anything goes! Get ready to work it!

Pre-requisites: Ugi Ball Class OR Ugilates AND/OR approval from studio instructors. Participants in this class should be in good physical health, injury-free and have the ability to transition comfortably from standing to the floor and back.

Ugi -Tabata

This class is a combination of Tabata intervals with the Ugi Ball as the main prop, so this class is definitely in the HIIT realm of workouts (High Intensity Interval Training). Fast-paced, challenging and plain old tough, this class is for anyone looking to work hard and to their maximum effort.
