This class incorporates the precision of Pilates with the positions, moves, grace and technique of ballet (no dance experience required!). Add to this dynamic mix the alignments of yoga and the strength building from sports conditioning and you have a challenging and exciting class, which strengthens and sculpts muscles, while burning fat and improving fitness. Balance, strength, stamina, power, flexibility and motor control all improve while joints are protected through harmonious and efficient movement.

Pilates Barre Blast

This is a 30 minute version of our Pilates Barre class. It is designed for those on the go who are looking for a quick and effective workout in a shorter time period than our standard Barre class. Do not doubt the power of this class to challenge you though! It’s called a “blast” for a reason!

Pre-requisites: A genuine interest in sweating a little bit and finding muscles you might not have known were there!

Platinum Barre

Have fun training with your friends in this ballet-based Pilates class! These small group sessions focus on improving balance and flexibility as well as building strength and stability. Dance moves to music from the world of ballet are presented with appropriate modifications for the mature body. Who doesn’t want to be a ballerina?

Pre-requisites: This is an all-levels class. Newcomers are welcome.
